Definition
- An enterprise with direct foreign investments is an enterprise in which an investor from another country owns at least 10 percent of the regular shares or votes or their equivalent. This relates to a permanent interest and gaining substantial influence on the management of the enterprise. Direct investments are made up of capital in shares in the enterprise, participations in enterprise groups abroad and providing credit.
